6 months to 5 years of age Getting wet, front and back floating. Leg and arm actions, using side of pool, steps and ladder. Child benefits from the bonding and trust of the parent oriented class. Parent takes class with the child in the water (No Lifejacket is used during instruction).

Introduction to Water Skills: blowing bubbles, opening eyes under water, retrieving submerged items, Front float and back float, rolling over, leg & arm action.

Fundamental Aquatic Skills Jumping into water, submerging head, combined arm and leg action, finning, sculling. Can float on their front and back and swim a short distance.

Stroke Development & Improvement rotary breathing, treading water, front & back crawl, butterfly kick. Swimming underwater, beginning diving, backstroke, breast stroke, swimming on side.

Stroke Refinement shallow diving, survival float, flip turn, side stroke. Recreation Swim Team.

all ages One student per instructor. This is recommended for students with extreme anxiety about the water or is not able to participate in group lessons.
